Post your must have phone apps (no games)

#1

What apps are must have for you? Can be IOS or android, perfaibly free, and does it does not matter if root is needed or not. Easy enought to find a guide on how to do so these days

Can be from prductivaty to just really cool, interesting and fun

Again not games, if you would like to post games Click Here

I’ll start:

Here are a few of my picks

Photomath

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microblink.photomath&hl=en

Simply point your camera toward a math problem and Photomath will magically show the result with detailed step-by-step instructions.

Not the best, sometimes it wont work or its methods are counter to what you are learning, but if you need a helping hand or a point in the right direction, this is it

Kiwix

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kiwix.kiwixmobile&hl=en

Kiwix is an offline content reader which can be used to download and browse Wikipedia as well as other sources (Ubuntu documentation, WikiLeaks, WikiSource, WikiVoyage, etc).

Best app ever, love this

Duolingo

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duolingo&hl=en

Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Irish, Danish, Swedish, Russian, Ukrainian, Esperanto, Polish, Turkish and English. Totally fun and free.

Really good app to help learn a new language

Mindly

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dripgrind.mindly&hl=en

Mindly helps to organize your inner universe. Give a structure to your thoughts, capture ideas, plan a speech, take notes. It is up to you.

fun way to take notes on the phone and to organize them into branching paths

Timely - my alarm clock. It’s not really any better than the built in clock, but I like the UI more. It’ll sync accross devices tied into your google account.

Look of Disapproval - premade faces made with special characters. Copy and paste into text messages. WAY cooler than emojis.

Speedtest.net

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zwanoo.android.speedtest

Wingstop - comes in handy during work. Whatever backend they use for ordering is blocked on our network, so I can't order on my computer.

Nova Launcher Prime - I'm not really a fan of the stock launcher, both on my LG G4 and my S7 Edge. So I paid for the full version.

Offline Survival Manual - I haven't actually used this one yet, but it seems like it could come in handy some day.

All I use are the default Android apps, so those are my must haves I guess…
