Price is better than I thought it would be. I also find it amusing that the memory, memory bits, and ROPs are all exactly 91.67% of the Titan X.
11 GB / 12 GB = 91.67%
352 bits / 384 bits = 91.67%
88 ROPs / 96 ROPs = 91.67%
It’s like Nvidia just nicked 8% off the Titan X and made a new card out of it.
And so the normal bench for waitmarks begins. Although I won’t buy it either way because I’m nowhere near its target market.
Why didn’t they drop the titan x’s price? It’s almost the same card.
great video, and omg New Zealand stuff. yay
I think that dropping the price on the Titan X Pascal would be something that isn’t on Nvidia’s radar. I mean you could have bragging rights, but what is the point? A person would laugh knowing that somebody would waste their money on a Titan at this point.
At least competition makes them ‘‘care’’ about performance/price.
Price for Americans isn’t to bad. Everyone else has to bend over and spread though.
This video settled my jimmies. Thank you.
When I heard this announcement, my first thought was…
Can someone clarify, is the Tek Syndicate logo/label added just a branding for Tech videos by Crit or is Tek Syndicate now an umbrella of products like Raze the World was? Or is the name being phased out? Just wondering what context the name still exists as.
I’ve been trying to use the “Tek Syndicate” brand name for the hardcore tech content.
Oh cool. I like that the name has stuck around. Nice video btw.
