Need Help choosing headphones

The headphones that I am choosing between is
Sennheiser HD 558 Headphones or ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Headset + MixAmp Pro TR for PlayStation 4
These headphones I’m choosing mainly for my ps4. I’m worried that since the Sennheiser doesn’t have a sound card that it will be getting plugged into the controller that it will hinder the sound quality.

Which do you think are better?

If you value sound, the Sennheiser HD 558 will be better than the Astro A40 hands down.

They are surprisingly efficient too, so you won’t be losing much of anything by just running them off a controller.
