Well… I’ll be there!

I can’t wait!

I hope I’ll be there.

Might I ask why Kansas City? Bit far from where you guys are set up in Portland.

I’ll be saving extra money to make the trip from Quebec to the Lan syndicate event. I won’t bring a computer, maybe I’ll rent a laptop from one of the community guys. But I have a question, how much should I expect to pay in hotel for the whole event? I never traveled with hotel rooms.

It’s a good middle-ground for everyone. I’d rather do something in Portland, but this should be good.

Makes sense. Hopefully I can make it this year. About a 3000km drive for me.

Will you be driving or flying in? Also, if you don’t mind, what part of Quebec are you in?
I “might” consider driving down.

Je suis de l’Outaouais.

I thought about flying, although I did not verify how much it would cost and all. I’m in Chaudière-Appalaches, 35 min of Qc city.

holy shit it’s a 23 hrs ride

Sad, Sad, Sad, more Sad :crying_cat_face: I wish that I could be there :crying_cat_face:

Well, it’s a 500 mile drive for me. Good thing I have plenty of time tp decide. Anyone in the Chicago suburbs thinking of going? Based on current gas prices, it’ll only cost me about $40 to drive down, then $40 back up, which isn’t bad at all.

Since the event closes for 8 hours each night, I’m guessing there will be some form of security?

Anyone got a boat?

UK or Europe LAN in the future?

If a team can help, I’d love to do one in the UK and one in Austria, Germany, etc.

Raze the World Tour!

Don’t forget Canada. Or I’ll fill your pyjama with maple syrup and let it dry on you so when you want to remove it your skin will come off with it.

If it was in Ottawa, Montreal, or Quebec I could make one of those. My place to Quebec is like 1/4 the time as my place to Kansas City. Hell, I can even drive to Quebec faster than I can fly to Kansas City.

I know of an excellent company in the UK who would be perfect to partner with for a LAN. They are one of the UK’s biggest computer equipment re-sellers and custom PC builders. They also have the royal warrant - By Appointment of Her Majesty the Queen. Check out www.scan.co.uk - I’m pretty sure they have experience with LANs too.

Don’t forget my invite if it all works out!

I have a significantly better source of income since the last LAN so maybe I can make it this time

Agreed man, I’d deff make it to one of the big cities in eastern canada / us.
Toronto / Montreal / Quebec / Ottawa would be awesome
